Mike Tyson Arrested For Assaulting Photographer At LAX Airport

People: Mike Tyson and a photographer made citizen's arrests of one another after getting into a scuffle Wednesday at Los Angeles International Airport, police say.
At 4:30 p.m., the former boxing champ, 43, was passing through LAX from Europe en route to Las Vegas when a celebrity photographer began taking his picture at the United Airlines terminal, Sgt. Jim Holcomb tells PEOPLE.

"The two men got into a scuffle, and it's alleged that Tyson hit the photographer once in the face with one hand, causing him to fall to the ground," Holcomb says. "The photographer sustained a laceration to the forehead, and was taken to a local hospital."

Officers arrived on the scene and detained Tyson, who was booked at a nearby LAPD station and held on $20,000 bail, according to police records. Documents also show that Tyson was released at 8:24 p.m.

Tyson was reportedly traveling with his wife and 10-month-old baby. The incident was first reported by Radaronline.com.

"Mr. Tyson did absolutely nothing wrong, he was the victim in this case," his attorney, Richard Schonfeld tells PEOPLE. "We look forward to vindicating him and pursuing his rights."

Earlier this year, the boxer's 4-year-old daughter, Exodus, died in Phoenix after accidentally getting her neck wrapped in a cord from an exercise machine. In November 2007, Tyson was sentenced by an Arizona judge to 24 hours in jail and three years probation for drug possession and driving under the influence.

It remains to be seen whether the airport incident will be deemed a violation of his probation terms.

Lil Kim Being Facing $20K Lawsuit Over Cancelled Nightclub Appearances, Blames Nosebleed And Poor Pl

ContactMusic: Rapper LIL' KIM is facing a lawsuit from a London promoter after she axed six public appearances - amid allegations a nosebleed caused the cancellations.
The hip-hop star was due to make a string of appearances in the U.K. capital this month and was paid $20,000 by Abstrakt Visions Entertainment to be seen at a number of nightclubs.

But Lil' Kim was struck down with a nosebleed on Friday night (06Nov09), just a day before her first appearance on Saturday (07Nov09), and pulled out of the planned slots, according to TMZ.com.

The 34 year old then jetted back to the U.S., leaving the company without a star guest - and now bosses at Abstrakt Visions Entertainment are considering suing the star.

However, Lil' Kim's rep has defended her client's actions, alleging the real reason she pulled out of the appearances was because of the promoters' poor planning - insisting they failed to give her a proper schedule.

50 Cent at Macy's in San Francisco Nov 10, 2009

50 Cent at Macy's in San Francisco promoting his new fragrance, Power by 50.  We tried to ask 50 Cent about the current recession, the state of the economy, and all of your questions.  But I guess he couldn't hear us over all the noise.  We would like to thank our field correspondent, Rachel for providing us with the following footage and for being such a good sport for standing in a very hot environment.  According to Rachel, it was really warm and crowded at Macy's. The line for photos spanned to out the door.  Also of course, 50 arrive twenty minutes late.  Anyway, thanks again for the effort!

HP To Buy 3Com For $2.7 Billion

Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) this afternoon announced an agreement to acquire 3Com (COMS) for $7.90 a share in cash, or about $2.7 billion. COMS closed the regular session up 28 cents, or 5.2%, to $5.69.

HP said the deal will “transform the networking industry,” which seems like a nice way of saying the company is ratcheting up its competition against Cisco (CSCO), which earlier this year made a bold move to compete with HP and other computer vendors in the server hardware market.
